Belenke Diamond Vault

ABOUT

news article about Belenke

My father, Burt Belenke, was the man who started it all for me. He took over the business from his father, Saul Belenke around 1950. He continued to build the business and it became a thriving multi-store diamond business for the next 50 years. Beginning in the mid-1980’s, we worked together on the 3rd floor of the Seybold Building in downtown Miami, Florida.

My father was the one who helped and supported me throughout my schooling, and I soon become a Graduate Gemologist from the GIA in 1990.

After working with him for over ten years, I finally I opened my own business in Hollywood, FL. This news article from almost 20 years ago reminds me of those good old days. Even after I started my business, my dad was there with me to see it all.

In 2008, I started a new chapter in my career. I began buying and selling vintage jewelry in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is a wonderful community brimming with people who love and appreciate vintage jewelry and diamonds.

Environmental Sustainability

The Belenke Diamond Vault focuses on environmental sustainability- generating profits while helping to protect the environment. How do we do this? We buy, sell, and trade all our vintage and antique inventory and ultimately recycle, reuse, and/or upcycle every piece. Further, our business minimizes its environmental impact by continuing the life cycle of each piece of jewelry, in turn taking socially, environmentally, and ethically responsible actions.
